An Ordinance calling for a General Election on May 6, 2017 for the Village of Pleak, Fort Bend County, Texas, for the purpose of electing a Mayor and two Alderman and for the purpose to submit to the voters a proposition on the question of the adoption of an increase of .25% in local sales and use tax within the Village of Pleak for a total rate of two percent (2%) under the Texas Tax Code, Chapter 321 and Texas Administrative Code and to authorize the Mayor to enter into a 2017 Joint Election Agreement and Contract for Election Services with Fort Bend County, Texas.
